HSE - An LEV Inspector calls.

LEV Testing - HSE Inspection

For many of our clients Pure LEV is their first port after receiving a visit from HSE.

Recently a client contacted us having had a visit from HSE about an unrelated work place accident. As part of their inspection, HSE looked at every element of their business, not just the matter reported - they noted that the clients LEV Testing was not up to date.

We were able to visit the client premises within 48 hours to test their LEV systems and create reports to submit to HSE. Whilst their workshop and LEV was in excellent condition, and their dust and fume extraction was working very well, the client was unaware that by law, LEV Systems must be tested every 14 months or sooner.

For Pure LEV this is a regular occurrence, highlighting the lack of awareness around the legal requirement to test LEV Systems and extraction operation and efficiency in the workplace environment.

With a swift response and quickly generated reports, the client was able to avoid any further action from HSE or business distruption.

Do you know when your LEV System was last tested?
